Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan & PoK protesting against Pak
Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and PoK protesting against terrorist Pakistan Army

Pakistan always raises the issue of alleged Human Rights violations in Jammu & Kashmir while on the other hand putting forward some manipulated stories to claim Balochistan as sharing no rights to part ways with Pakistan. People from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and PoK distressed with terrorists and depredations by the Pakistan Army are seen protesting against Pakistan openly. They accuse Pakistani security forces of illegally detaining their men, women and children in Balochistan. Many of them are being raped and killed.

With India raking up the issue of Balochistan, the neighbors are worst with their own petard. Pakistan which until now was busy sympathizing and mourning terrorists in Kashmir now fumbles over its own black deeds.
And the Baloch people along-with their nationalist leaders who did not have a voice of their own have thanked the Indian PM for highlighting the Balochistan issue that Pakistan hates to talk about.

He said the way people from these Pakistani regions "wished me well, gives me great joy".

India stands with Balochistan; and it is time the world should stand too.

Plagued by Violence, Let’s Walk you through the Bumpy History of Pakistan’s Largest Province – Balochistan.

Balochistan got Independent on 11th August 1947
Balochistan got its Independence on 11th August 1947

  • It tasted only 227 days of freedom before Pakistan invaded
Balochistan which was formerly under British rule and half declared independent three days before Pakistan’s Independence on August 11, 1947 the same being recognised by Jinnah himself. But it was forcibly occupied by Pakistan on March 27, 1948.
Balochistan constitutes half of Pakistan's territory
Balochistan constitutes half of the country's territory
  • Balochistan in size!
Located in the southwest region of Pakistan, Balochistan is the largest province in Pakistan covering around 44% of the total area.

  • A rich land home to some of Pakistan's poorest
Balochistan is Pakistan’s wealthiest province with significant reserves of gas, gold, copper, oil and uranium, but remains utterly backward because Punjabi and Mullah Pak exploits its riches while tyrannising its people. Just like Bangladesh’s jute fuelled Pakistan’s growth,
minerals from Balochistan have supported the development of Pakistan.

If Pakistan loses Baluchistan, it loses most of its coastline.
  • Balochistan is facing atrocities like Bangladesh did in 1971
From 1971 to 2018, the Pakistani ISI and military is perpetrating atrocities on the Balochistan province the way it committed crimes against humanity and genocide in Bangladesh in 1971. It's said that over 1, 40,000 Baloch people have been displaced since 2004-2005, at least 25,000 have gone missing in 15 years and, in 2015 alone, 300 executions were carried out (Amnesty report). Balochs are denied jobs and even basic facilities like water and electricity.
  • There have been five major armed uprisings in the region since 1948
Baloch nationalists have tried five times for independence from Pakistan.

1948: Kalat withstood annexation with Pakistan, but was forcecibly taken over by the Pak Army

1958: Ethnic leader Nawab Nauroz Khan launched a campaign against Pakistan. Was arrested and imprisoned.

1966: Baloch leaders forced Pakistan to give up 'one unit' policy to recognise it as fourth province

1973: Called the biggest fight for freedom, it started when Martial Law was imposed

2004 till date: Widespread 'Kill and Dump' policy adopted by Pakistan Army causes untold misery and grief.
India’s Stand on Balochistan

India's stand on Balochistan
It is more than 70 years that Balochistan has been enslaved by Pakistan which hypocritically tries to drift the blame on India for the fight for injustice in Balochistan. Though India has always restrained from interfering in internal conflicts of any country including Pakistan this time, by raising the Balochistan issue India came to their rescue and supports their fight for Freedom.
Indian PM had announced that, ‘India will help POK, Baluchistan &Gilgit to get freedom from Pakistan’.
